At the Community Foundation of Southwest Indiana, Inc., we maintain information on volunteers, donors, and potential donors for the purpose of keeping accurate financial records and providing information about the CFSWI and our funds. We use this information for follow-up contacts with you, financial records requirements, as well as reports and statements concerning our endowments. Except in the below stated instances, we do not share information on donors or potential donors with anyone outside our organization.

Names of our volunteers, staff, Board, community committee members, and CFSWI funds may be provided in publications, including our annual report, as well as on our website. We periodically publicize information about our donors, but only with the express permission of the donor. We do not sell or lend donor lists, our database, contact information, or email addresses.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
The names and addresses of donors of memorial or tribute gifts may be released to the honoree, next of kin, or appropriate member of the immediate family, unless otherwise specified by the donor. Gift amounts are never released without the expressed consent of the donor.

We never sell information to third parties. Some of our site services related to grants and scholarships provide forms and links to other websites and third party service providers. You may be asked to provide certain personal information to them in connection with our use of these providers and services. All personal information we maintain is contained in a password-protected database. Access to the database is limited to authorized users. Our server is protected by a firewall and other security measures at the infrastructure level. Our website is maintained on an off-site server separate from the server that contains our database.
