Eligibility Criteria

Graduating seniors of Washington High School and Washington Catholic High School planning to pursue a two- or four-year college or vocational school degree in writing (literature, not journalism), computer graphics, computer game design, computer art design, or computer animation, computer programming, and/or web design at an accredited institution.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on applicant’s cumulative grade point average (minimum 3.0 gpa on a 4.0 scale), financial need, and the required essay.  Applicants receiving a 4-year, full tuition scholarship, including the 21st Century Scholarship, will not be considered.

Supplemental Requirements

Typewritten essay (approximately 200 words) answering the question, ”What degree are you pursuing and how will that degree help you achieve your life goals?”
Completion of the FAFSA.
Official grade transcript.
