Norma J. Byrne Memorial Scholarship
Annual scholarship created by Georgianne and Jim Parshall in loving memory of Georgianne’s mother, Norma Briner Byrne. Norma grew up in Hazleton before settling in Princeton after her marriage to Patrick Byrne and received her nursing degrees from the University of Evansville and Indiana State University. She enjoyed her years as a nurse in Princeton Community Schools.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Princeton Community High School planning to attend an accredited college or university to pursue a bachelor’s degree in nursing or similar program related to healthcare.
Selection Criteria
Supplemental Requirements
A short personal statement (500 words or less) describing how the applicant’s current career goals and plans have been shaped by their talents, service, extra-curricular, and leadership activities.
