Warren W. Parke Memorial Scholarship
Annual scholarship created in loving memory of Warren W. Parke by his daughter to honor his passion for sports, his contributions to the community, and his commitment to education.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Wood Memorial High School planning to pursue full-time enrollment at an accredited college or university. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale), have been involved in a school-sponsored sport each year of high school, and be regularly involved in community service. Students who have been awarded full ”cost of attendance” scholarships as defined by the NCAA are not eligible to apply.

Supplemental Requirements
Essay (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages) explaining why the applicant believes he or she should be considered for the award.
Letter of Recommendation from one or more of the applicant’s coaches verifying that the applicant is a dedicated team player who has demonstrated good sportsmanship, a positive mental attitude, team spirit, and a love of the sport(s) in which he or she has participated.
