Annual scholarship created by John and Mary Ellen Vinson.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Pike Central High School with a minimum 2.3 and maximum 3.3 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale) pursuing post-secondary education at any accredited educational institution.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on grade point average (40%), financial need (40%), and the required essay (20%).
Supplemental Requirements
Completion of the FAFSA.
Official grade transcript.
Essay describing the student’s goals and aspirations.
Letter of recommendation from a school official describing applicant’s academic abilities, personal qualities, and attributes.
