Jerry Herron Memorial Scholarship
An annual scholarship established in memory of William Jerry Herron by his estate to support scholarships to graduating seniors of Mt. Vernon High School who excel in the study of economics.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Mt. Vernon High School who have excelled in the study of economics during high school or who intend to further their post-secondary education in the study of economics. Applicants must be recommended by the Economics teacher at Mt. Vernon High School.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on all sections of the application form. Preference will be given to a student who intends to further their post-secondary education in the field of economics.

Letter of recommendation from applicant’s Economics teacher
Official grade transcript.
