McFadden Farms Trust Scholarship
Annual scholarship established by McFadden Farms, Inc. to assist Posey County high school students in pursing an education in the trades.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of any Posey County high school or graduates within the last five years planning to further their education in the trades at an accredited vocational school (i.e. Cosmetology, HVAC, IT, CDL, etc), technical college, or community college. Applicants must provide proof of acceptance in an accredited program.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA SAR score and the required essay. Preference will be given to applicants who are the first in their family to pursue post-secondary education.
Supplemental Requirements
Essay (500 words or less) responding to the following prompt: “Describe the career path you have selected, what led you to this career path, and how this scholarship will help you pursue this career.”
Completion of the FAFSA and submission of the Student Aid Report.
Official grade transcript.
