Posey County Co-op Scholarship
Annual scholarship created by the Posey County Co-op.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating high school seniors who are residents of Posey County, Indiana, with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale). Applicants must be planning to pursue post-secondary education in agriculture, animal sciences, welding, electrical or mechanical maintenance, electronics, or computer technology at any accredited college, university or technical/vocational school.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on all sections of the application form and the required essay. Preference will be given to students who plan to study agriculture, animal sciences, or welding. Preference will also be given to students involved in FFA, 4-H, or any organization related to agriculture.
Supplemental Requirements
Essay: Statement of Aspirations and Educational Goals (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages).
Official grade transcript.
