William H. Keck Leadership Scholarship
Annual scholarship created by the family of William H. Keck.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Mt. Vernon High School planning full-time enrollment in a four-year program at Indiana University-Bloomington.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on academic achievement (SAT/ACT scores, class rank, grade point average, degree of difficulty in class strength, and academic honors), school involvement and leadership (student leadership, sports, plays, band, committees, student council, etc.), community involvement (church, neighborhood, volunteering, scouts, nonprofit organization activities, and employment history), and the required essay.
Supplemental Requirements
Essay: Statement of Aspirations and Educational Goals (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages).
Official grade transcript.
