Central High School Class of 1943 Evelyn Church Hatfield Scholarship
Annual scholarship created by the Central High School Class of 1943 in honor of Evelyn Church Hatfield, who was a former business teacher and a class sponsor.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Central High School in Evansville, Indiana, planning to pursue postsecondary education at any accredited college, university, or technical/vocational school. Applicants must demonstrate participation in business classes at Central High School.

Selection will be based on academic ability and involvement in business classes at Central High School.
Supplemental Requirements
Essay describing involvement in high school business classes at Central and how they will help the applicant prepare for the future (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages).
Letter of recommendation on Central High School letterhead from a teacher or other school official in support of applicant’s academic abilities and involvement in business classes.
Official grade transcript.
