Friends of IU Scholarship
Annual scholarship established by Michael and Mary Schriefer and Larry and Charlene Hess to provide scholarships to Heritage Hills High School graduating seniors who plan to attend Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Heritage Hills High School who have been accepted to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale), financial need, and be involved in community and school activities.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on financial need, leadership skills, involvement in community and school activities, and the supplemental documents. Preference will be given to applicants planning to major in education.
Supplemental Requirements
Letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer.
Detailed list of scholarships applicant has been awarded.
Completion of the FAFSA.
Official grade transcript.
