Jack and Martha Hief Scholarship
Annual scholarship created by the Pike County School Corporation to benefit Pike Central High School students who have participated in the Pike Central music or performing arts programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of Pike Central High School who have participated in Pike Central High School music or performing arts and are planning to pursue post-secondary education at any accredited college or university.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on the applicant’s level of participation in Pike Central High School music and performing arts, a letter of recommendation from a Pike Central High School music teacher, and the required essay.
Supplemental Requirements
Official grade transcript.
Letter of recommendation from a Pike Central High School music teacher.
Essay (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages) describing the importance of the arts in the applicant’s life.
