North Star Scholarship
Annual, renewable scholarship created by an anonymous donor.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduating seniors of North Posey High School with a minimum 3.0 grade point average planning to attend any accredited college or university. Applicants must demonstrate great financial need.
Selection Criteria
Selection will be based on all sections of the application form and on the supplemental document(s).
Supplemental Requirements
A minimum of two letters of recommendation from school personnel, church leaders, the business community, or others knowledgeable about the applicant.
Completion of the FAFSA.
Official grade transcript.

Renewal Details
May be renewable for up to four consecutive years provided recipient maintains a minimum 3.0 grade point average and continues to demonstrate financial need. Renewal awards may differ from the original award amount. A new recipient for the award will be identified once every two years. Renewal applications will be assigned to renewal candidates in their online student account.
