Annual scholarship created by Si and Mary Ashley to provide financial assistance to Pike Central High School graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduating seniors of Pike Central High School with a cumulative GPA range of 2.5 – 3.5 (4.0 scale) planning to pursue post-secondary education at any accredited college, university, or technical school.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on financial need, extracurricular activities (in or outside of school), work experience, unusual circumstances, family responsibilities, the essay, and letters of recommendation.

Supplemental Requirements

Official grade transcript.
Completion of the FAFSA.
Two letters of recommendation – one from a teacher and one from an individual unrelated to the applicant and who is not a teacher.
Essay (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages) on the applicant’s most rewarding extracurricular experience and the skills gained or lessons learned from that experience.
