Eligibility Criteria

Graduating high school senior who is affiliated with St. John’s United Church of Christ in Vincennes or Bethel Church in Freelandville.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on applicant’s success in overcoming difficult circumstances, a history of working hard to achieve aspirations and goals, and on financial need.
Selection will be based on all sections of the application form and on the supplemental document(s).

Supplemental Requirements

Essay: Statement of Perseverance (not to exceed two typewritten, double-spaced pages) describing the challenges faced in order to pursue past and/or future aspirations and goals.
Two letters of recommendation from individuals unrelated to the applicant and who are not Community Foundation board members - that support the applicant’s ability to overcome challenges and obstacles.
Completion of the FAFSA.
Official grade transcript.
