Annual scholarship established by Ed Jackson, Alan Jackson, and Sue Jackson Rains to support a student’s first year of college – one award for a student majoring in arts and humanities and another award for a student majoring in science, technology, engineering, or math.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduating seniors of Gibson Southern High School with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) pursuing either a course of study in the field of arts and humanities or pursuing a course of study in science, technology, engineering or math at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Applicants must have participated in extra-curricular or community activities and demonstrate financial need.

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on all sections of the application form and financial need as evidenced by the FAFSA SAR score.

Supplemental Requirements

Completion of the FAFSA and submission of the Student Aid Report.
Official grade transcript.
